We are a small show and (occasional) breeding kennel, situated a few miles north of Cardiff in Wales. We have kept Labradors as pets since 1979, but only started showing in 1993 with a Chocolate puppy, Mackintosh (or just Mac for short). He was joined a year later by Bess, a small black bitch. When Bess was two years old we decided to breed from her, and we still have two of her pups from that litter, Bonnie and Clyde (both black). In due course Bonnie produced puppies of her own, and we now have our first yellow Labrador, Willow. Bonnie had her second litter on March 28th 2000, and we kept one of those puppies, Toby. Willow gave us her first (all yellow) litter of nine puppies on October 18th 2002.

Bonnie, Willow and Toby are our show dogs at the moment. Mac and Bess have both retired from the show ring, and Clyde never really enjoyed showing. All our dogs, though, are pets first and show dogs second – we only do it because we enjoy it, and it is only fair that the dogs have the same choice!
